Dr. Hunter-Doniger is an Associate Professor at the College of Charleston. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Visual Arts Education and a minor in Educational Psychology. Prior to graduate school she was employed for 15 years as a visual arts teacher in Indiana in grades 1-8. Her research interests include creativity in education, STEAM education, the Reggio approach, forest kindergartens, and art infused education.
